What we're looking for

We are looking for someone to apply his or her consultative sales skills to help WegoWise expand our customer base. Our Account Managers have a meaningful impact on the growth of our business, and they also contribute to our mission of improving the environmental sustainability of buildings.

Our ideal candidate

We are seeking a candidate who will be based out of our headquarters in Boston.
Extensive sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
Experience selling to the real estate and/or energy management sectors.
Bachelor's degree required.
You are highly organized, self-directed and motivated.
You are interested in joining a collaborative sales team where we care about, support, and learn from one another.
You enjoy a fast-paced start-up environment where roles, markets, and processes are constantly evolving.
You are comfortable using a CRM such as to manage activity and pipeline.
You are a nice person.

What you'll get to work on

You will develop a pipeline of opportunities and manage the sales process from first contact through contract execution.
Things you might do on a typical day:
Identify and qualify opportunities in your market.
Perform pro-active outreach, follow up on inbound inquiries, and serve as primary point of contact with potential customers throughout the sales cycle.
Assess each potential customer’s needs and goals, demonstrate our software, and communicate a clear value proposition.
Prepare compelling proposals and finalize new contracts.
Travel to in-person meetings and industry conferences (up to 25%).
